Paper Denim & Cloth was founded in 1999 and quickly became synonymous with fashion-forward denim styling and impeccable product quality. Launching again in Spring 2013 as a full collection we have continued our belief that utility and style are equally essential. When designing each seasonal collection, the focus remains on combining updated design elements, exceptional product quality, and a denim purists appreciation for authenticity and detail.
Alex was born & raised in New York City to a long lineage of garment manufacturers. As a 3rd generation denim maker she launched Paper Denim & Cloth in 1999. After having two children, she has re-ignited the brand for spring 2013.
She still resides in NYC with her family and an extensive stuffed dog collection highly guarded by her 7 year old.
Chantel Valentene is a born and raised New Yorker. Her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology led her to spend time at places such as Cynthia Rowley, W Magazine & Resin.
Chantel now lives in the East Village with her plants, clothing and future dog.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, where her family owned and operated a custom clothing shop. Celeste has had over 20 years experience managing denim collections for the likes of Jones Apparel Group.
She now resides in Somerset, New Jersey with her husband and daughter.
